Workshop: Information Technology

The existing skill gap in the IT sector brings us to a mismatch between the offer and demand of profiles within the sector. This issue affects mostly companies and the first outcome of this phenomenon resulted in the hiring of technical profiles from abroad.

For this reason, Future Manager organizes a Workshop dedicated to the topic of Information Technology. It aims at finding operational and functional solutions to this specific skill gap.

Several IT centres of excellence fulfill Recruiting projects within their country, where the offer of Computer Engineers has more consistent numbers then the Italian ones and where the candidates are strongly motivated in international experiences.

The Workshop, will  be focused on technical recruiting topics, but also on how to improve the on-boarding of international candidates through Cross Culture projects and by checking legal issues.

The event will take place the 20th of November at 16:00 at our offices in Milan. There is also the possibility of an online connection through a Videoconference system.

The time spent together will allow to exchange information and best practices within us and the companies taking part at the Workshop. The aim would be to identify the best strategies to fill in the skill gap.

Our colleague, Lloyd Dicks, responsible for the IT centre of excellence in SouthAfrica will actively partecipate and give some guidelines regarding the main topic.

The attendance is free and is open to a limited number of participants.
